Why it exists
Traditional fins break your stroke.
Traditional fins are bulky, heavy, and uncomfortable. We created SlipFin Pro because swimmers need a comfortable, lightweight fin that supports good technique and allows for race-pace rhythm.
SlipFin Pro slips over the top of the foot creating a suction that holds the fin in place. With ankles and heels completely free, you get unmatched comfort, flexibility and power.

One standard size range.
Sizing
Find your fit.
Sizing is based on instep circumference, not shoe size. Wrap a soft tape measure around the top of the foot, just in front of the ankle.
Measure the circumference of your instep:
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the top of your foot, just in front of your ankle.
- Keep the tape flat and snug.
- Use this measurement to find your size in the chart below.
No tape measure? Use a shoelace or string, then measure it against a ruler.
| Size | Instep circumference | Foot width |
|---|---|---|
| S | 21 โ 24.5 cm | Narrow |
| M | 23.5 โ 27 cm | Regular |
| L | 26 โ 28+ cm | Wide |
Between sizes? For a performance fit, go smaller. For a relaxed fit, go larger. Narrow toe box: go smaller. Wide toe box: go larger.

Questions and answers
Common questions,
straight answers.
How do I know what size I am?
SlipFin Pro sizing is based on how wide and full your foot is, not your shoe size. Use a soft tape measure (in cm), wrap it around the top of your foot just in front of your ankle, all the way around and back to the starting point. Find the range your measurement falls into on the size chart and select that size.
What if I'm between sizes?
Your preferred fit can guide your choice. Choose the smaller size for a snugger, performance-oriented fit. Choose the larger size for a more relaxed, comfortable fit. Narrow feet: go smaller. Wide feet: go larger.
Should SlipFin Pro fit tightly?
Yes. SlipFin Pro is designed to fit securely on the foot. A snug fit helps ensure the fin stays in place during swimming while still allowing natural ankle movement.
How far up my foot should it go?
SlipFin Pro should be pulled up over approximately ยฝโยพ of your foot. It is not intended to go over your heel. Your heel and ankle stay completely free.
How do I get it to stay on?
Once the fin is on, squeeze the air or water out of the toe area by pulling the front of the fin back toward you. This creates suction and keeps the fin securely in place. If it is not sticking, there is likely too much air or water inside.
What if there is extra space at my toes?
This is normal. Your toes are not supposed to touch the front of the fin. The extra space helps create suction, which keeps the fin securely in place.
Can I flip turn and push off the wall?
Yes. SlipFin Pro is designed for swimming, flip turns, and push-offs when properly fitted. Plant your feet firmly on the wall before pushing off. Because the heel and ankle stay free, some swimmers may notice it feels different from traditional fins during turns until they become accustomed to the fit.
Can SlipFin Pro be used for all four strokes?
Yes. SlipFin Pro works with freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Its strapless design allows for natural ankle movement, making it a versatile training tool for improving kicking technique, body position, and feel for the water across all four strokes.
How do I remove SlipFin Pro?
Peel the edge of the fin away from your foot to release the suction, then slide the fin off.
What if the sock portion becomes deformed?
Gently fill the sock portion with a pair of socks or another soft item and leave it overnight. This will help the fin return to its original shape.
