      Snorkels FINIS

      Original Swimmer's Snorkel

What is the difference between the Swimmer's Snorkel and the Freestyle Snorkel?
The Swimmer's Snorkel is the original centre-mount snorkel, designed so swimmers can focus on stroke technique without turning their head to breathe. It includes a one-way purge valve to ease new users into snorkel training. The Freestyle Snorkel has a curved shape that reinforces proper head alignment โ€” if your head drifts out of position, the snorkel dips below the water surface as immediate feedback. It also allows full range of motion including flip turns.
What size Swimmer's Snorkel should I get?
FINIS offers two sizes. The junior size suits younger swimmers or petite women, especially those new to snorkel training. The adult size suits older teens, men, and most women.
How do I clean my snorkel?
Rinse with fresh water after every swim. Once a month, soak in hot soapy water with a few drops of bleach, then rinse thoroughly. You can also run the snorkel body (without the head bracket) through the top rack of a dishwasher.

      Freestyle Snorkel

I only swim freestyle โ€” is the Freestyle Snorkel right for me?
It may be a great fit. The Freestyle Snorkel is designed to reinforce correct head alignment during freestyle. If your head position drifts out of alignment, the curved tube dips below the water surface โ€” giving you instant, physical feedback to correct your form.
Can I use the dry top attachment on my Freestyle Snorkel?
No โ€” the Freestyle Snorkel is not compatible with the Dry Top attachment.

      Glide Snorkel

What is the difference between the Glide Snorkel and other FINIS snorkels?
The Glide Snorkel shares the curved tube of the Swimmer's Snorkel but does not have a purge valve. Its shorter tube makes it an ideal starting point for fitness swimmers and team training.

      Purge valve

What does the purge valve do?
The purge valve lets water drain out of the bottom of the snorkel tube without entering the mouthpiece โ€” making it much easier to clear water while swimming.
My purge valve is leaking. Do I need a replacement?
Not necessarily. Squeeze the mouthpiece and slip the lip of the seal away from the valve to remove it. Wash with soapy water and rinse with fresh water. If leaking continues after cleaning, contact us at sales@swimshop2u.com.

      Head bracket accessory

I lost the clip that holds the strap on my head bracket. What can I do?
Contact us at sales@swimshop2u.com and we'll help arrange a replacement clip for you.

      Swim paddles FINIS

Agility Paddles & Instinct Sculling Paddles

How do I find the right paddle size?
Measure the circumference at the base of your fingers and match it against the size chart on the product page.
My fingers go over the edge of the paddle. Does that mean they're too small?
Not necessarily. If your hand sits comfortably in the well of the paddle while your fingertips extend slightly beyond the edge, you have the correct size โ€” this is by design.

      Freestyler Paddles

Should I get the senior or junior Freestyler Paddles?
The junior size (8.5 inches tip to fin) suits smaller women, most teens, and younger children. The senior size (11 inches) is appropriate for larger teens and most men.

      Forearm Fulcrums

Should I get the junior or senior Forearm Fulcrum?
The junior size (just under 11 inches) suits younger swimmers, teens, and petite women. The senior size (about 13.5 inches) is ideal for adults and taller teens.
      ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

      Training fins FINIS

      Positive Drive Fins

Is there a left and right Positive Drive Fin?
Both fins are identical in mould, but there is a correct way to wear them. The wider portion of the blade should sit on the outer side of your foot. On your right foot you will see the FINIS logo; on the left foot you will see the fin size printed on the blade.
My fin is fine but the strap has snapped. Can I get a replacement?
Yes โ€” replacement straps are available. Contact us at sales@swimshop2u.com and we'll help you source the right one.

      Skin Socks & Foot Booties

What is the difference between Skin Socks and Foot Booties?
Skin Socks are thin nylon/spandex socks worn to prevent chafing from slightly loose fins. Foot Booties are thin neoprene coverings for your toes up to the arch of your foot โ€” used to make fins or monofins that run slightly large fit more securely.
What are Foot Booties made of?
Foot Booties are made from thin neoprene. They slide over your toes and are ideal when you need fins or monofins to fit more snugly.

      Electronics FINIS

      Tempo Trainer Pro

What does each mode on the Tempo Trainer Pro do?
      • Mode 1 โ€” Stroke mode: Beeps between 0.20โ€“99.99 seconds to set your stroke rate. Start at 0.65 sec and complete one stroke cycle per beep.
      • Mode 2 โ€” Lap pacing: Set a target time per 25. You should hear a beep as you reach the wall. Swim faster or slower to stay on pace.
      • Mode 3 โ€” Strokes per minute: Set a target stroke cadence (e.g. 80 spm) and adjust up or down to match.
Can I replace the battery in the Tempo Trainer Pro?
Yes. It uses a CR1620 3V battery. Use a small coin to unscrew the back, remove the old battery, and insert the new one.
Can the Tempo Trainer Pro be used for other sports?
Yes โ€” the built-in clip makes it easy to use for running, cycling, golf, hiking, and more.
What is sync mode on the Tempo Trainer Pro?
Sync mode lets you align the device to a pace clock or watch for live pacing feedback. In Mode 2 set to 14 seconds, pressing button [A] triggers a triple beep and resets the 14-second interval from that exact moment.

      Pool equipment FINIS

      Backstroke Start Wedge

What should I do when I first receive my Backstroke Start Wedge?
Before submerging it, check that the grip tape shows no signs of peeling. If the edges are starting to lift, use a heat gun or blow dryer to reactivate the adhesive and press the tape down firmly.
Can I leave the Backstroke Start Wedge in the pool permanently?
No. To extend the life of the wedge and grip tape, remove it from the pool after each session, rinse with fresh water, pat dry, and store flat in a cool, dry place.
The grip tape is peeling. How do I fix or replace it?
Apply a bead of silicone caulking adhesive (suitable for plastic, from any hardware store) along the edges of the grip tape and allow to dry fully before use. If the tape has peeled beyond repair, contact us at sales@swimshop2u.com to arrange a replacement. When applying new tape, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, heat both surfaces with a blow dryer, press firmly, and allow to cool before use.
Is the Backstroke Start Wedge approved for competition?
Yes. The Backstroke Start Wedge is World Aquatics (formerly FINA) FR 2.10-compliant and can be used in both training and competition.
How do the straps on the Backstroke Start Wedge work?
The Wedge straps (lower) are pre-threaded through the wedge with a Z-hook at the end. The Block straps (upper, numbered) wrap around the block posts or hand grips and attach to the wedge straps. Refer to the manual included with your wedge for setup instructions specific to your block type.

      Swim Teaching Platform

How much weight can the Swim Teaching Platform hold?
The 1200mm platform supports up to 600 lbs (suitable for 3โ€“4 children per side). The 1800mm platform supports up to 1200 lbs (recommended for 5โ€“6 children per side).
Can the Swim Teaching Platform be used on a sloping pool bottom?
Yes. The platform is designed to be easy to move and gentle on pool surfaces. It has been used successfully in vinyl-lined pools. Engage the wheels when moving it across the pool floor.

      Turnmaster Pro

How deep does the pool need to be for the Turnmaster Pro to float?
The Turnmaster Pro requires a minimum water depth of 35 inches (approximately 89cm) to float clear of the pool bottom.
Do you offer custom-sized Turnmaster Pro units?
Custom sizes are not available at this time. Contact us at sales@swimshop2u.com if you have specific requirements and we'll advise on the best option.

      Water polo Turbo

What is the difference between a water polo swimsuit and a regular swimming suit?
The fabric composition and cut are the same, but the water polo suit has a double lining โ€” front and back โ€” while a regular swimming suit only has a single lining at the front. This makes the water polo suit fit more tightly against the body.
Sizing note: Because water polo suits fit tighter, Turbo recommends sizing up one size. If you normally wear a Medium in other brands, order a Large in a Turbo Water Polo suit. This does not apply to Turbo Swimming suits, which follow standard sizing.
Can water polo suits be used for regular swimming or other water sports?
Absolutely. Water polo suits are named for the sport they're designed for, but work perfectly for recreational swimming, beach use, and any other water activity. Turbo water polo suits are widely regarded as some of the most durable swimsuits available.
How long will a Turbo swimsuit last?
Turbo fabric has been scientifically tested to withstand chlorine, abrasion, and UV exposure. With regular use, the brightness and colour of the suit are retained over time. Turbo swimsuits are made in Spain and are considered by many to be the toughest swimsuits in the world.
How should I care for my Turbo swimsuit?
Follow the washing and drying instructions on the care label. Proper care keeps the fabric fibres in optimal condition and extends the life of your suit significantly. See our Product Care section below for general swimwear care tips.
Are Turbo swimsuits manufactured in an environmentally responsible way?
Yes. All components โ€” fabric, yarn, and accessories โ€” are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEXยฎ, the world's leading eco-label for textiles. This also confirms that the materials contain no substances harmful to health. Turbo operates under a formal environmental policy committed to minimising waste across its manufacturing process.
Do you offer custom water polo gear for teams and clubs?
Yes โ€” Turbo customises gear for water polo, swimming, triathlon, artistic swimming, underwater hockey, and more. Contact us for minimum order quantities and lead times, or fill in the Turbo Custom form to get started. ๐ŸŽจ ย Turbo Custom โ€” design your own โ€บ

Swimwear โ€” brands & sizing Funkita / Funky Trunks

Is Funkita / Funky Trunks swimwear chlorine resistant?
Yes. The swimwear range uses C-Infinity fabric โ€” a superior quality polyester with no elastane. Elastane is the component in many swimwear fabrics that breaks down in chlorinated water. By using 100% polyester construction, C-Infinity fabric maintains its shape, colour, and fit far longer than elastane-based alternatives.
Does Funkita / Funky Trunks swimwear offer UV protection?
Yes. The polyester fabric carries a UPF 50+ rating, meaning it blocks 97.5โ€“98% of UV radiation. A UPF 50+ garment allows only one-fiftieth of UV radiation to reach the skin beneath it โ€” significantly reducing exposure during outdoor swimming and water sports.
The Funkita / Funky Trunks design I want is sold out. Will you restock it?
Funkita and Funky Trunks regularly refresh their range with new prints and styles, so sold-out designs are generally not restocked. Check back regularly or follow us on social media to catch new arrivals first.
Is training swimwear approved by World Aquatics for racing?
Yes โ€” training swimwear does not require a World Aquatics approval label for competition use, as it does not qualify as a performance racing suit. World Aquatics clarifies that conventional swimsuits made from traditional permeable textile (such as polyester, nylon, or lycra) without surface treatment are acceptable even without an approval label, provided they meet the material requirements.
Note: This applies to training swimwear only. Technical racing suits require explicit World Aquatics approval for use in competition. If in doubt, check with your meet organiser or national federation.
How do I find the right swimwear size?
Each product page includes a brand-specific size chart. For technical racing suits, sizing generally runs smaller โ€” we recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. Not sure? WhatsApp us at +6016 381 5528 and our team will help you find the right fit.
I need help choosing the right swimwear size โ€” can you recommend one for me?

๐Ÿ“ How to measure your hips: Stand with your feet together. Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, approximately 2 inches (5cm) below your belt line. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and snug but not tight.

      Product care

How should I care for my training swimwear?
      • Always rinse in clean water after every use
      • Dry in the shade โ€” UV exposure deteriorates fabric faster
      • Don't leave swimwear rolled in a wet towel for extended periods
      • Avoid excessive chlorine, hot spas, and heated pools where possible โ€” heat and chemicals accelerate wear
      • Avoid contact with sunscreen, perfume, deodorant, tanning products, and perspiration โ€” these can stain and break down elastic fibres
      • Avoid rough surfaces (concrete pool edges, waterslides) that cause pilling and fabric damage
      • Remove trapped sand by gently running a fingernail across the fabric
      • Do not iron or tumble dry
      • If your swimwear has a drawcord, pull both cords inward to tighten โ€” pulling them apart can tear the drawcord holes
How should I care for my technical (performance) racing suit?
Technical suits require more careful handling to preserve their performance properties:
      • Rinse in fresh cold water immediately after use โ€” remove all chlorinated or salt water
      • Cold hand wash only โ€” no machine washing
      • Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean
      • Drip dry flat in the shade
      • Store completely dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight
Important: Never put a technical racing suit in a washing machine or tumble dryer โ€” this will permanently damage the fabric and bonded seams.
